I have been planning weddings and events for close to a decade. Starting with small family events, I have assisted in planning a wide range of events, including corporate meetings, religious gatherings, political functions, holiday parties, birthday parties, and weddings!

From the moment I began working in events, I discovered how much I thrive in the fast-paced environment of planning, coordinating, and bringing people together. I believe that events are about creating meaningful, memorable experiences that leave a lasting impression.

Over the years, I have built a diverse foundation in event coordination and operations. I have a desire and inner need to make sure those around me have everything they need for the day to be a success, whether it's bringing snacks for my nieces and nephews to their games or ensuring my cousin's wedding went off without any major issues.

I have been married to my husband, John, since 2021, and we have two dogs, Bongo and Sevro. When not planning events, I enjoy baking, reading, and spending time with my friends and family!

My heart behind creating Powell Event Co. is to provide high-quality weddings and events that create memories to last a lifetime. I believe that every event is unique and requires different hands-on approaches to meet a client’s needs and bring their vision to life.
